I have a sad hen.

I've got a little silkie that hatched out some guinea keets and ended up losing them. It's been two weeks and she's still moping around, won't go out to range, cries a lot......doesn't seem to want to set more eggs. Any suggestions?

Get her a few friends. I would go with some that are just a little younger and smaller than her so she won't be the one picked on. I also would stick to the same breed because she's the only chicken right now. I'd get 2 more silkies.

Well, she has eight other banty buddies, three of which are silkies. She's far from the only chicken around here.
