I have a sick chicken

her symptoms are lethargic not eating pooping water and soft crop. any advice is appreciated should I take her to the vet if so where are they for chickens I’m new with this thank you

How old is your chicken? Does she lay eggs yet? Has she been eating or drinking, and what do you feed her? Does she seem puffed up or hunched. Coccidiosis is common in young birds. Corid in the water is a good treatment for that.

I have had a few sick chickens in the past, I never took them to a vet. I just separated them from the flock (put them in a big cardboard or plastic box) gave them some mixtures of energy drinks and fed them raw egg yolk, and some survived and some didn’t. That’s life lol.
The energy drink recipe that I used:
*Sugar (tablespoon)
*Salt (teaspoon)
*Water (approx 1 cup)
*Bicarb Soda (half a teaspoon or 1 teaspoon)
or some say you can use a small amount of gatorade as an energy drink, but I haven’t tried that.
If you feel you want to take her to the vet, then do it, I haven’t but that’s just me.

Do note if the sickness seems really bad and she has some sort of disease or virus, please consider ending his/her sufferin.
