I have a sick chicken?

I have a hen that was ok 2 days ago. I went out to see her today and she had a growth (about the size of her eye) by her jaw and her head is cocked sideways to the ground. Whats the deal? I hatched her and she was perfectly healthy up till today. She is a American Game bird X. Any Ideas? Will this jeopardize my flock?? Any clue what this could be??

I may be way off, but I'd play with it and see if it feels like there's fluid in it. If so, it may need to be drained

or antibiotics may be in order.

Sorry! I don't know enough about chickens. Maybe she's holding her head funny because it is so close to her ear? I just know when I see a lump I want to know if it is a solid lump or a ooky lump. Good luck!
