I have a sick hen.

I have five chickens that I got about a month ago, everyone was fine until about 3 days ago one of my hens started acting lethargic and won't eat or drink. She has diarrhea and she isn't active at all. She just sits in a corner most of the day. Any idea what is wrong and how I can help?

Have you tried extra vitamins? Are they any signs of lamness in the neck or legs?

No, I just feed my chicken's egg layer pellets and bird seeds as a snack. She has been sitting quite a bit more in the past 3 days.

I give them about a cup of birdseed once a day every day.

That's too much. They're likely not getting a balanced diet since they're filling up on that. I'd cut it out and see if that helps a bit. Can she balance of you have her stand on your hand?

I can't right now but they are green with white and black spots.
