Yes. Canker is the name I couldn't think of. Thank you! I had read that Aspergillosis sometimes caused white nodules in the mouth or throat. No? But, then, I had also read that it is untreatable, which is untrue. I don't know whether canker is different ... I guess it must be? I just know that I was once presented with the loveliest Tom, who had advanced canker (white plaques coating his mouth and throat). He died within a couple of hours of his arrival. I had, only moments before, located the remedy, and had none on hand. I still agonize over that event. Turkeys are such beautiful, gentle creatures. In ANY case, I can't see that putting some copper sulfate in the water could do any harm (dosage info is out there; let me know if you would like help finding it). They seem to use it preventatively, in any event. Horrible stuff, that canker.
