This little guy is not quite 1 year old and for the past week or so, has been keeping both his eyes shut. I've moved him into a pen by himself, but last night my husband found him laying over on his side. We brought him inside, gave him some fresh water and food. He drank and ate fine and even opened up his eyes for a little while. I checked on him this morning and once again his eyes are closed. When he has them open he seems to see fine. Should I give him some type of antibiotic, his eyes don't appear swollen..... Never had one have this issue before.

Thanks for the pictures. Are there any other symptoms? How does his poop look? Have you felt him to see if he is skinny? Any sneezing, coughing, or opening his mouth to breathe? Do you have a kitchen scale you could weigh him on?

Most of the poop looks normal and formed. There are a couple spots that are a little soft but not runny. He weighs 1 lb 2.7 oz. he is eating and drinking. Haven't noticed any other symptoms.

From your pictures, you have grass already. Has he been outside in the yard at all? The symptoms sound like it could be coccidiosis and I would recommend a course of Corid given to him. I have used the 9% liquid. It can't hurt to try this but just to be safe, let me ask a few more questions.

After you found the bird on his side, was he able to get himself up from that position and walk? If so, how is the gait when he is walking? Does his breast bone stick out a lot more than it should? Has he been given anything to eat beyond his regular feed and what is his feed? It's obvious he's not a happy camper and needs some help, but how much and what kind are not clear. Anything else you can add would be a great help!
