I have a space question

I have a question I just bought a rabbit hutch that I would like to convert into a loft. I think its about 3ft x 2ft and maybe 2.5ft high, I want to make a big flight area for them maybe 4ft x 4ft x 4ft. How many pigeons could I fit in an area that big?

Do you know what breed you are getting? Rollers or Homers?

I haven't made up my mind yet, the way its looking I might have to ship in birds, so I guess a breed that I can fit in like 2-3 pairs.

I was just reading and came upon Parlor Rollers it says that they do not need to fly, they sound ideal for the area I have.

As long as you have at least one perch for each bird, then all should be well.

I haven't raised that breed, but 18" sq is what I heard from a friend when I asked her about them. They don't need heights bc they dont fly.
