if you go in the room were it is and open the brooder it jumps to the top and looks at you (there is a stick it fly jumps on it and then out now if you pick it up it falls asleep on your chest just spoiled right ?

I think that turkey is a human trainer

wait until it gets older plans on getting you all trained up that way it has a longer lifespan

Turkeys do tend to be very inquisitive. Our grown hens "bweep?" a lot and like to fly on top of things. So don't worry...

my wife admitted she had been picking it up and letting it sleep on her chest in the early morning

we have two poults. We are pretty sure one is male and one is female. Our brooder is divided in half, the female always flies over the divider to hang out with the baby chicks next door. The male cares about nothing and no one but me. When the brooder opens if it's my husband he bweep, bweeps at him and lays back down...if it's me, he flies up to the edge of the brooder and walks back and forth on the edge balancing himself and displaying for me. It too stinking cute. He knew he was on the menu for thanksgiving and this was his best shot at a pardon...so far I'm petitioning the jury for him pretty hard...

They get spoiled fast.
