I came home tonight and was checking on my 5 week old barred rocks. I noticed one of them curling in her head under her neck and it looked like she was pecking at herself. After pulling her out and observing her alone, I noticed she wasn't pecking at herself, but it looks more like a nervous twitch. There aren't any marks on her anywhere either. WE gave her food & water and she does both with ease just every once in awhile she gets that nervous tick/twitch going. I put my finger under her neck and lift it up and she is back to normal...til the next time.

Also, noticed one of our Barred Rocks (thinking its a rooster) is hassling(pecking) her as well. We are putting her in with our leghorns for the night in the brooder to see how she is going to do thru the night. If you have any thoughts or experience with this type of behavior please help! Maybe a night away from him will get her back to normal?!

It sounds like it could possibly be wry neck. Try searching wry neck to see if the symptoms match.
I know they will put their little heads between their legs, the neck looks twisted and they can even walk backwards.
There is a vitamin regimen that works really well on wry neck if you catch it pretty quick.
The baby will probably be picked on no matter what kind of chicks she is with-chickens tend to sense weakness or vulnerability and pick on the weaker ones.
Good luck to you and hope you get to the bottom of this.
