Wild pigs are about the easiest animal to keep. Put them in a secure pen and feed them anything and they will be fine.
My DBF has kept them for 10+ years now. They eat everything from pig pellets to corn to feeder bread to leftovers from the garden and the house.
Your pen looks pretty small from those pics, make sure he has a mud pit to lay in but also that he has plenty of dry ground.
He needs fresh water and food daily.
I would ditto the castration if you plan to keep him as a pet. He is right about the age that he will start giving you problems if he is not "fixed".
The playful headbutting and jumping up can easily turn dangerous at his size.
How much land do you own? If there is an area that you want for next year's garden perhaps you could put up an electric fence and let him root there. He would fertilize the area and maybe root up all the weeds.
