I have always had my eggs on their side and turned them by hand. But I have 24 in a incubator. I am about to put 12plus in another one. My ? is if I use a egg carton to put them in. Do I put the skinny end up or the big end up? Also do I need to cut the bottoms out for air to get to them. Also how much of a tilt they need, thank you so much for your responses.

Pointed / small end down, no need to cut the carton and I would go with a 45 degree angle. 45 left, straight up, 45 right and back.
