I found bits of eggshell in one of our nestboxes today. This afternoon DH found some wet eggwhite in another nestbox.
We obviously have at least one eggeater.
Now what?

I've heard people say to put gold balls or wooden eggs in the nest box when the hen try to eat it...it won't be so much fun. Also some people say to blow out a egg and fill it with mustard and then when the hen eats it they will not like the taste after a few try she should stop eating the eggs. Also are they getting enough calcium. Make sure they have oyster shell free choice all the time that could solve the issue as well.
