Or should i use the incubator like its supposed to be used? When i was hatching eggs last year i used the fan.... i never had good hatches...
But that could have any number of reasons...
So what would you do?? I'm incubating duck eggs..

I'm being a pest today...

About turning eggs... the last time i used my egg turner..i think it messed up my hatch..i thiink my tuner stopped working correctly..or something..
So should i just hatch the eggs in an egg carton??
OR..is it best to just lay the eggs on their sides on the floor of the bator.. (like theyd be in nature..) and hand turn...?

I used both turner and fan both times hatching with decent results. I think you will be fine as long as you keep misting those duck eggs! Are these eggs pretty small? If they are on the big side they will not fit in the turner right and they will get too close to the heating element. The goose eggs will NOT fit at all so I think your best bet would be to turn them yourself and build a seperate hatcher for them since they will be tall enough to hit the heater when they do hatch.

Good luck with the IVF!!!!!
