If you have cramped quarters for your chickens, you cannot add turkleys to them. Turkeys require much more room than chickens can get away with.I have an opportunity to pick up 4 heritage turkeys nearby for a damn good price. My concern is enclosure and coop. My neighbor had turkeys in the past and said they can be kept in the same coop and enclosure.is that in fact true?
As opposed to separate coop and enclosureIn the same coop and enclosure as what else?
As what? Are you trying to house them with smaller birds or other turkeys? As opposed to separate coop and enclosure

Don't do it. Run space being plenty to you probably is not enough for turkeys. One member suggests at least 10 sq. ft. of coop space per adult turkey along with a minimum of 100 sq. ft. of run space for each adult turkey.Coop space would be tight but run space there's plenty
Even if temporarily til spring?Don't do it.
