PurpleChicken
Rest in Peace 1970-2018
Today I was at AHappychick's house and she insisted on sending me home. Then she insisted on sending me home with chickens. "Chickens??" I said. What on earth am I going to do with chickens. So she hit me, trying hard to slap some sense into me. It didn't work so she grabbed the shovel. Knowing this was a losing battle I agreed to take home a few birds.
My New Flock:
Chatty & Cathy the organic tree hugging Rhode Island Reds:
AHappychick is going through a battle with the town over chickens. These two are her babies and like to talk.
Dini, some blue Ameracana chicken thing:
Ora, a Blue/Black Orp hatched from MissPrissy's eggs. I managed to smuggle the eggs down to AHappychick's house on day 14 of incubation. She was the only survivor of that batch of eggs and my MG nightmare.
Thanks Susan. I promise they will be well cared for.
