What exactly do you feed them?

You can stop them by collecting eggs more often so they don't have the option to eat them.

A roll away nest box, so they can't get to the eggs.

Have similar issue.. fake eggs can help in each nest, but not a cure all. Someone mentioned collecting eggs earlier in the day. As they tend to lay early in the day. Makes sense.. Have caught a hen doing it, perhaps out of jealousy.. and recently a rooster, they eat their own.. Earlier I go out there the less the mayhem.. Going to guess that is the best bet. Come on seven, baby needs a new pair of shoes..

In my humble experience once the chickens taste a raw egg it's almost impossible to stop this. It can become a habit after the first taste. I tried collecting them early & even watch them lay. They would lay & spin around so fast to peck the egg, it was impossible to stop them. I tried all the tricks & advice including using fake eggs etc. They were very well fed. The only thing that worked was a "Roll-Away" style nesting box. Good luck.
