I have doubts

This ISA brown chick is supposed to be a pullet. I know this is one breed ave you can tell the sex pretty much by day one, and I think it's awfully light for a pullet.

Obviously, my neighbors don't want a rooster crowing at 5am and waking them up, and I assured them that wouldn't happen when I spoke to them. I just want to know if I will likely be butchering this little one in a few weeks.

That's a pullet. I posted this on a different post. The lighter one us the male
It's lighter than your pullet, but it does look much darker than your male. That's reassuring. The wing feathers that have appeared are white, but I see in pictures of other pullets that some have white feathers on their wings. But the chick does have a sweet disposition, so I hope she is a she.
