I put my order in for April 1st turkeys...I ordered from McMurry as I have used them for 20 some years and never got a bad bird from them of any description...I ordered 10 midget whites, 5 bourbon reds and 5 royal palms...some to keep and some not...I would like to keep a pair of each just to have them wandering around looking good...u know, eye candy for me...I will have to see how it all works out with the rest of the "family." The rest of the family being the ducks, geese and chickens...I am kind of excited about having turkeys again...some day I will tell the tale of the 50 BB whites I had that were a nightmare...I swore I would never raise another turkey...I am talking about birds so big, we had to shoot them where they stood as we could not carry them to the chopping block...it was a nightmare I tell you...I hope I don't have flashbacks when I see the little white ones...
