I have it bad-looking when we go

I'm finding that when we go places I'm looking at the small building and thinking-"That would make a great chicken coop." I think I'm in trouble but, at least I know I'm in good company here!

If only spring would arrive so I can get the turkey chicks and the cornish cross chicks. How I would love to have more layers but, I think DH would have me committed. The coop would only hold about 3 more and it would mean finding room and building a new setup-so not going to happen!

Come on spring so I can order my chicks!

LOL I usually look at scraps along the side of the rode and see if i can incorporate them in a coop X0

I found myself doing the same thing. That was, til DH drew up plans, big plans, for a brand new coop this spring! Plenty of room for everything! He is even making me an incubating/brooder room add-on for what will be my first attempts at hatching! Then, I have to choose chicks! I cannot wait!

I do that ALL the time, even in WALMART - cause then I'm making trips down isles to look at things that .... - wow that will make a COOL nest box!

I look at everything. Everytime I go somewhere. In the ditch, beside the road, in a field, behind builinds, ect........

I GOT IT BAD!! Just hatched 19 fluffy butts 2 weeks ago. Just ordered 24 eggs for the bator, and already planning my next 2 orders.....

Oh yeah. We've scavenged anything that might be useful for the new coop. And I've seen a couple of little buildings, some actual coops, some not that would be perfect. I saw the cutest little bus shelter someone has in their yard for their kids. It would be just perfect!

You're not alone, I've actually stopped in the middle of the road to pick up a piece of lumber that must of fallen off someone's truck.

I stopped a couple of weeks ago, someone had lost a huge cooler. It was laying in the ditch in perfect shape with a lid!!

All I could think about was "homemade bator".
