Hi chicken lovers, new member here.
Israel, 35 yo, single for all you free ranging hens out there
I got my first hen 3 years ago, life has changed a lot since.
I currently have 7 chickens that I raise in my front and backyard, I live in a small neighborhood in what used to be a rural area, and now rapidly changing to a part of the city. but as long as i don't have a rooster there's no issues... I have 2 roosters.
I started with barred Plymouth rock and brought some other breeds in,
I need your help in identifying their breed.
I was a gamer guy that like to sleep in ,used to love farming simulators, I now live in one. The thing I like most about raising chickens is waking up early and having my backyard producing my breakfast.
I do yoga, I work as a tech guy in the stock market, where I see the brokers as laying hens in a human farm, nesting in their desks waiting to lay a money egg. it makes the day go faster imaging everyone as chickens, I even offered my boss to separate between 2 fighting lady workers in one office and move
the more aggressive one to a temporary separate room, like you do to a bully hen, read it here on BYC and it worked. chickens are simplified humans.
