I have my first pip!

I got up today to check the eggs and see what I believe is a pip.

I figured my hatch day wrong as yesterday and was so worried my eggs were dead. Guess hatch day is supposed to be starting around 5:00 pm tonight so this chick is right on schedule! My kids will be home from school to watch as well. This is awesome!

I figured my hatch date wrong too - it's really today, and the one that hatched yesterday was early.

Why do you pencil mark the air cells, if you don't mind my askin?
