please give me some idea of what this breed is. Some one told me that they thought old English game hen (bantam) but she doesn't have the right comb. Any help is appreciated.

Ok, I will try she is really flighty and it a long time to catch her today, I should have taken a whole body photo. That is what a baby pea comb looks like. I am really new to this breed. I have always had cochins and barred rocks.

What about an American game bantam?

I hope these pictures are good enough because I can get closer than about 3 feet of this bird

I would say OEGB mixed roo but wait a little longer or I'm looking at the picture wrong :P

He is a mix of probably many breeds, a true barnie..barnyard mutt. Once he is full grown and we can see how the tail/hackles and saddle feathers develop you will really be able to figure it out. OEGB mix, possible AGF or EE in that genetic soup.. :)

So you think it's a roo, it is always picking fights. Is it true that roo take longer to feather out because he was very small and was the last to get feathers. I can't have roos here so should I wait and see or get rid of him now.
