Does she come out on her own on the morning? So far so good. Saturday night was the first night and took her about 45 min to settle down but every night since has been perfect. We sit in the gazebo with her for a couple hours at night and then she goes right to sleep no problem. I'm surprised that she doesn't go inside at all unless we prompt her to use the ramp at night. We turn the lights on inside thinking that she won't like the darkness outside and go in on her own but not yet. Either she doesn't mind the darkness or hasn't realized she can go in any time she wants.
I think w can all safely assume that their duck is spoiled. LolPerfect view!
Does she come out on her own on the morning?
PS Did you see the thread 'Is your duck spoiled' ?

When I open her coop she comes out and walks around the gazebo and stretches her wings. I think she is still confused on where her food is so I tap outside on the ramp and she comes down into the run then I remind her where her food and water is and she is good for the day. I'm affraid to check out the other thread for fear I may be missing something and have to get it or build it too lol.Perfect view!

So she has an outside deck on the level of the gazebo? When I open her coop she comes out and walks around the gazebo and stretches her wings. View attachment 1156344 I am so excited to tell everyone that we have a new addition to our family. I took Lucky to meet the most handsome little boy over the weekend and he was so sweet and gentle and just perfect. His name is Flynn and he almost 6 months old. He should be moving in on Sunday or Monday I can't wait. I just pray that they are both as content going forward as they were on Saturday. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
