I am sorry but I am not sure which membrane you are referring to. The only membrane I have access to is the papery membrane that was left behind the exterior pip in post number 73 I have no idea how the membrane is inside the egg I can not see inside
its only the size of a pencil eraser that is exposed so I really cant feel with my finger but if I run my fingernail over it, it feels hard like a piece of paper and not as fragile as I would imagine it to be
Chip out the second pip hole too and report back to what it's like....No more than that at this point though...
