The picture only shows one pip but there are two right next to each other and they both look like the one in the picture. The shell is still attached and I do not know if the membrane was broken or not. But here is sit waiting. There is some movement inside and the duck is breathing however it appears to be labored but that may just be because its curled up in a ball. Mine has busted out the shell and will start zipping soon....It is piping out its Bill...I think you should do as I said and only take the pip hole shell away to see if it progresses ....
