View attachment 1031825 Morning friends. I wanted to post an adorable picture of lucky swimming but of course that was impossible. First of all I didn't have anything nice that was large enough for him to torpedo dive in lol so we are using a large steam tray for now. The other problem is that as soon as he jumps in the water he poops so here he is with a big poop behind him. Lol.
Shhhhhh nobody tell Lucky that he is swimming in a roaster pan.

Are usually sit outside with the docs and they are let outside multiple times out of their cage I have a baby pool we're now my ducks are at the age to where they can jump in and jump out. Someone always has to be out here with them as they get older they will get more brazen and will not want to go in the cage but again you must get them in their cage or inside once you leave the yard.

View attachment 1031830 Lucky wanted a picture standing in front of his new house during construction. Here he is the little brown dot in front. It Looks more like a hotel for him but he will grow into it.
Love it!! If your putting it in the grass you might wanna think about stapling some hardware cloth or something to make a bottom on it so nothing can get in. On the second night I put my ducklings outside in their new home something tried to dig under the pen! Thank goodness we made a bottom for it and nothing happened. Don't wanna worry you to death but......better safe than sorry.

What is hardware cloth

What is hardware cloth
Hardware cloth is a type of rolled wire fencing. It is sold at most hardware/box home stores. At the 1/4 or 1/2 inch spacing, the openings are too small for crafty raccoons, and their relatives, to reach into and grab an unsuspecting victim.
The broody coop below has 1/2 inch hardware cloth....so does the outside run area of the cute home you got for Lucky!
