I have no idea what I am doing

Good morning BYC family. I am trying to figure out how I'm setting up Lucky's food and water stations. Primarily the outdoor one so that she doesn't make a muddy mess and minimize bugs in her food. Also thoughts on food and water inside. The inside area is 8x8 and her coop will be inside that as well. I'm planning on using straw or hay inside the coop but the rest of the indoor area will be linoleum so I thought the water wouldn't be an issue but please any thought and pictures of how your food stations are set up would be so appreciated. Thank you all

I wouldn't put food Or water in her house unless your planning on her being locked in there for extended periods of time. I would keep it outside in the run. I pick up my food every night and put it back out in the morning to discourage mice and other predators from trying to get at it.
If your locking her up at night and feel like she needs water maybe make a waterer she can't splash too bad like a milk jug with a hole. She can stick her head in?

I am thinking about doing something like this in the new coop when it's built so when I leave overnight or something I don't have to have someone come over to feed them. But part of my run will have a roof to help keep food dry. I don't plan on locking mine up in the building at night either. Hoping to make it predator proof enough that I don't have to :fl

this is a set you can buy on Amazon. But where I live the water would just freeze and bust in the. Winter. And I have more than one duck wanting to eat at the same time so. That wouldn't work for me. But it Might work for lucky if you didn't wanna build something.

Ok that's all the brain storming I got for now. I'd like to see some ideas from everyone else :pop
