I have no idea what I am doing

:fl:fl:fl
Hope everything is ok with lucky!
Finally just got out of the vet They did X-ray that were normal. Checked a stool sample and didn't find anything but are sending the rest of the sample out. Gave her a feeding and fluids under the skin. They do not see anything abnormal but giving her antibiotics anyway just to be safe. Oh there is no egg so that wasn't it unfortunately

:hmm hum. I Wonder what her deal is.

This poor girl can't catch a break. She was resting after being sedated for the X-ray and Mike and I have been trying to remove 8 inches of ice from their pond so they can swim again after almost two weeks with a frozen pond. We were hoping that would really make her happy and as soon as we finished cleaning it and filling it she came running out of the gazebo and jumped in and started to splash around for all of 20 friggin seconds when Flynn jumped on top of her and held her head under water and tried to mate with her. That's the first we have seen of that. The poor thing was totally under water. As soon as we got him off she jumped out and ran back into the coop. What's next???? I need a friggin break

Would it be safer not to let them have an opportunity to mate in the water? ... at least until they are better at it?

It's brutal
I know. I've seen it a bunch with mine. I used to flip out about it and intervene But the girls just jump back in and ask for it again. unfortunately it is just what they do :barnie
I wouldn't worry about it if she was feeling better but since she is a bit under the weather I understand. . you may wanna separate them till she feels better.
