I may need a different vet. In the meantime I can't let her go without food another day I'm going to have to get her more fish

Instead of feeder fish can you get her shiners or smelt?
they sell those where ice-fishing supplies are sold (usually)
i get them at my hardware store

Hi Steven. I'm so sorry Lucky isn't feeling herself. The fact that she is willing to eat somethings is encouraging. Is she still outside? If so maybe bring her in for a bit and see if more interaction with you and Michael helps. Also I know I have given my chickens yogurt along with ACV in their water for tummy troubles. Just a thought.

The drug they gave you is a good drug and one that is prescribed quite often. Did they suggest sending some poop off to the lab for culture and sensitivity testing?

I weighed her yesterday on a regular scale that only does increments of .5lbs and she was 2.5. On Friday the vet said she was almost 2.75 so I think we are ok. I'm going to the feed store on my way home tonight to get a proper scale along with any supplements they offer especially something for the water. I really do not think she is drinking like she used to
