I have officially joined the ranks

I have officially joined the ranks of those waiting for chicks to arrive! (I am waiting for 100 White Leghorn chicks to arrive Friday, but they belong to my boss, these will be MINE!)

I put in my order for peeps this morning, finally!
I'll be getting:

12 Araucana pullets

and an assortment which contains:

10 brown egg pullets
1 rooster (unspecified breed)
2 turkeys (ST. R, unspecified breed)
2 pair ducks (was supposed to be 1 pair ducks, 1 pair geese, but I am too impatient to wait till April for the geese)
10 assorted rare chicks (ST.R, which means most will probably be roos)
WooHoo! Can't wait!

Did you order those from Cackle? I get my chicks from there every year and absolutely love them! They are great and always send healthy stock.

Yup! Ordered both batches from Cackle.
They seem to have good prices, communication and a good variety of individual and assortments.
The Loco Chicken sound on the homepage, however.....
