What does it mean when a chick hatches early but it isnt completely developed?

It means you have a premature chick, basically.

What should the temp be in a GQF incubator?

Forced air: 99.5 F
Still air: 102 F

What should the temp be in a forced air?
99.5 F

How long should it take a chick to hatch?
It can take up to 48 hours after the pip.

How long should it take a chick to hatch after you hear it peep?
Once it starts peeping, it should start trying to hatch in the next 24 hours. After
the chick makes a hole in the egg, it can take up to 48 hours to get completely out of the egg.

What should the temp be after hatching?
95 F for the first week
then go down 5-10 degrees a week.

How long should i keep it in the incubator after hatching?
Until it dries off completely. Remember, chicks can go with-out food or water for 3 days after
hatch, as they live off of their ubsorbed yolk. Don't get in a hurry, and do not open the incubator
when there are other pips (:

How long should i keep the eggs in the incubator if they dont hatch and are fertile?
As long as temps. were not to low at any point during incubation,
It's OK to throw out any eggs that do not hatch by day 26-27

After the hatch the chick has blood and yolk on it butt what should i do?
Absolutely nothing. The chick will ubsorb the rest of the yolk, and it shouldn't be messed with.

How to tell the difference between male and female?

Unless you get a breed that is easy to tell at a young age (Sexlinks etc), You will not
be able to tell until the chick gets older.
