I have been tasing chickens for awhile.Revently this spring I decided to hatch five chciks out.Things started rough but then they all turned into angles,on top of that I have three younger chicks I bought who are great too.Everything was good till a few days ago.It was bedtime. The time where everyone goes into the run and eats scratch and is up for the night.Well,as I had expected everyone to come running, there were no babies to be found.Looked over and them and now mama were still foraging.I hate a chicken who doesn’t listen, which is why I try so hard to bare through the tween stages with my birds,I struggle everytime, mark my words,I would neevr do this, but I most definitely think about strangling the trouble makers! If I had a contract they had to sign that every afternoon they must come up,they would have broken it a million times, geesh.Every time they turn this age, they act completely nuts.No not all of them, but there will always be a chick who gives you trouble.Currently it has been a little black Cochin bantam, she’s nuts.Just the other day she was walking around me and flying on my legs and come a few wyd ago I know have to chase her everywhere.Anytime I am around she goes nuts, they have their own schedule!I have rebellious teens! They don’t wsnna come up when it’s time!Anyoen else have these troubles?Hoping this behavior calms down in the next month or so.
