I have seen many things...

I don't think there is much hope of any.

I read up on it a while back. Nothing said it was treatable.

Thanks for the input. Hatch defects are one thing I haven't researched much.
 
Let me see if I can find the chicken ones (threads)...I don't think they made it.

I'd give him a shot...just to see though.
I can't imagine he'll be able to eat in this condition. I'll give him until tomorrow morning.

I agree with @21hens-incharge , appears to be Cerebellar hypoplasia to me too! I know chickens can have it but I have never seen it in quail. Sorry this has happened to you're chick.
 
I had an albino quail hatch like that in my last batch

Failed to thrive. Didn't know the condition had a name. Not great pics of it i wasnt shooting to show it, thought it wasnt a big deal and he would grow into them. Albinos being so notorious for vision issues i contibuted it to that.
