I have standard black cochin-- What do I mix to get Blue cochins?

I have 3 standard cochins- Black 1 roo - 2 pullets-- Could anyone please explain to me ---- In very simple terms please How can I get some blue cochins. I mean what color do I need to mix to produce blues . My roo has a few red streaks in his neck so he may have some Partridge? in him. I also love the blue langshans. I know I would have to at least get one Blue or Splash - right?

From what I understand, and this is just me,

You take a black bird and breed it to a blue bird. This should give you 50% black, 50% blue. (Remember...I'm trying to figure it out also.)

I believe if you breed a black to a splash, you'll get 100% Blue.

Blue x Splash...I think you get 50% Blues and 50% Splashes.

Splash x Splash will give you 100% Splash.

Yes...you need to purchase a splash bird. If you purchase splash, you'll have better luck getting blues.

You do need a splash if you want to produce only blue from the cross.
