I have the FAIREST breeder in the land!

I'm a little late here but I'd like to add:
Make sure you have a big enough coop before you get new birds and I want to ask...are you not worried about bringing new birds and potentially new disease into your flock?
I am bringing these from the same place, same breeder. All of my birds come from him. Am I mistaken in thinking since they were all exposed to the same environment in their first 5-7 weeks of life and all added to my environment all within a 5 month time span it wouldn't be a large concern. I've been offered chickens from people that want out of the experience but I say no because of the possibility of infection.
For 2 weeks the EE and SLW were kept separated in a wire dog cage with tarps which was inside the run. They could be seen and interact without agression. When they were allowed out with the bigger girls they integrated almost seamlessly. I plan the same method but will have a larger coop for the current group. The new ones will go in the current coop alone for 2 weeks. That coop is inside the run and again will expose them visually but no danger of agression.
IF by some unfortunate circumstance the large coop isn't finished before the newbies arrive they will go in the wire cage like the last 2 did. That would give me a total of 4-5 weeks to get the large coop finished.
