I have the opportunity to buy Pied, Green..advice

I have the chance to buy Spaldings.

I also have the chance to buy IB Pied.

If I want to breed and get Pieds with the Spalding, how? Whites? Should I get male or females?
I have 2 adult India Blues (male),1 adult female IB, 2 Juv. whites boy and girl , I think.
2more IB juv. male and female.
I really like piers but could someone tell me where to look or give advice?

Do a "Pied Genetics" Search from the BYC menu bar (blue bar at the top of each page) on this forum. Be sure to put the topic under the peafowl section.

It would take a generation to get spalding pieds, unless they are already split to pied.

Yes a mistake alot of people make , crossing a soild color bird to a white...doesn't give you pieds....you need a pied gene in the background.
