I have three 2 year-old Buff Orpington hens that need to be re-homed. They are happy and healthy- I just have too many chickens.

Would you consider re-homing two of your hens instead of three? Would you still have to find a home for a single hen (not an ideal plan, perhaps) or would finding homes for just two give you breathing room for the flock?

BTW, I'm west of Fredericksburg with a mixed flock of 6 hens.
