I Have To Sell My Chickens!!!

My mom has just told me I have to get rid of all my chickens, except 5. My protests were short-lived, and apparently mom has put her foot down on this one. I am so devastated. I am only allowed to keep 5 ducks as well! I suppose the brightish side is I can get chicks when they're gone. But it is just so sad to have to let them go!!! Most of our hens are pretty old, so I'm kinda worried they won't sell. Oh my poor, poor chickens.

I only vaguely know how you feel. My mom made me get rid of five roosters simultaneously once, but that was absolutely nothing compared to you loosing the majority of your flock!!!!!!!
If your birds could comprehend such things, they'd tell you how much they understand why this has to come about and how grateful they were for your loving care. :/
Is your mom letting you rehome them yourself?

I'm so sorry if you live close, or darn chicken math didn't keep adding to my future flock, I would love to give them a new home! I hope you can find someone willing to love them as much as you do!
