I have to talk POLISH!

Can I have that one????? How cute is she!!! I love her colors.
My first hatches were all no better than one here and one there. I really think that some breeds don't ship as well as others. My best results have been with the temp 99.5-99.8, and humidity at 30% for 18 days then 68-70% the last 3 days. Keep trying. Is that a Crele?

I've had very good success from dirty doz farms in NY. She sells frizzled/smooth polish from eBay and the first round I got 15/16 hatched and second time 12/13 (16 originally but 3 not fertile).

And I do nothing special. Didn't even check temp of incubator but just set it to about 99.5-100ish and no clue on humidity (just checked wt to ensure proper loss).

She just must have good shipping luck.

Need to get pictures....

Hey, everyone! I have a breeding pair of polish almost at the point of lay! They are my favorite so far.

definitely not 100per poish his comb looks kind of like my polish/cochin cross. polish have roos have horn like combs but they are very small in most cases. that is the polish in him that makes it look horn like.

they had a few tiny feathers on there legs though.

These two are full blood polish but the one on the bottom is not very good quality but you can see his comb better because of lack of quality crest

I did a November hatch with 2 1/2 dozen barnyard mix eggs from my sister's flocks. I had a decent hatch. 13 out of 16 that went into lockdown (after clears were removed and 2 bloodrings.) Out of the 13 that hatched I had two polish mixes. I never really thought I cared for Polish until these two hatched. They have awesome personalities and my (I believe pullet) is so goofy she's just wonderful. My roo is turning into a beautiful bird, but unfortunetly I won't be keeping him as I already have my two coop roos and not enough hens to warrant another roo. This makes me sad. :-(

This is my roo. He has the v comb and good size wattles. They are black so not so photogenic. I'm not sure what he is crossed with. He has the typical 4 toes.

You can't see the red in him as well in the pictures, but he sure is pretty.

This one I believe is a pullet, she is a polish/silkie mix and has the 5 toes. I just love that fluff at the top of her head!
