I have tried almost everything so far to get this egg out, and it has still not come out

Some quick backstory here, I let our chickens out around 10:00 A.M., I noticed that our hen was still not out, and was sitting down inside of her nest box. Her comb was pale and she was shaking, and trying to push the egg out. I gave her an epsom salt bath, then allowed her to go into my garage to lay her egg. After a few hours (2 hours), I gave her another epsom salt bath, this time lubricating her vent with Vasaline and giving her calcium and water. I also gave her some egg yolk mixed with sugar, and yet it has still not helped her, I am considering manually taking it out, but I have no idea on how to do so. Any suggestions?

Do you have any calcium tablets or Tums? Give her one right away. Stop the soaks, since she is weak. Place her on a warm moist towel. Is her vent bulging out? Can you take a picture?

Yes, if those are calcium tablets. Use 300 mg up to 600 mg, and you can break it into 2-4 pieces, and open her beak and drop each piece into her beak. Give some fluids after.

Update: She died. After taking the fluids, she seemed much weaker, then her neck seemed to ‘spasm’ (jerking around violently), and then it flopped to the side. Maybe I gave her the fluids the wrong way?

Sorry for your loss. I think that she probably just died, and the neck spasming is common when they start to die. It probably was not anything that you did. I would open her abdomen and take some pictures of her organs. Check inside her vent for a stuck egg. They can reproductive infection and lash eggs, but it is hard to know exactly what killed her. A professional necropsy can be done by your state vet tomorrow if you keep her body cold, not frozen and take it in. Here is a link for calling your state vet for a necropsy:

She was already pretty far gone, I'm sorry
