I have two different breeds, and was wondering if anyone could tell me what they are?

We bought them in March, they were a week old. Also, some people have wondered if the larger chicken with red comb was a male. I thought roosters had spurs, or is that only certain breeds? They are both supposed to be female.

The black one looks like a black australorp with that blue/green sheen on it. I want one, they are so pretty. I don't know what the brown is but it is a nice color. I have read that sometimes hens have spurs, too. I wish I was more help but I'm new here!

Not sure on breed. Black austrolorp? The first one is a rooster. You can tell by the curling tail feathers. Spurs take time to grow in. Certain breeds take longer to grow in. All of mine have taken about a year or so to fully come in. One rooster of mine took two years for his spurs to come in. The second one looks like a hen to me.
