I have two Roosters! Is this a problem?

Oh, ya before our smallest rooster found out that he had grown to be the biggest and most doninating, my polish rooster used to breakup the rooster fights! I luv that roo!
Yeah, I have a roo that breaks up fights.

Those don't look like Roos to me. How old are they? Is their crowing? Sometimes my hens fight too.

They are not crowing, but I've had many people tell me that these look like roos. They are certainly the most developed and red. Also the white on the wyandotte and his slow feathering. But I am a novice and could be wrong. That would be ok too. I would be sad to not have one roo.

Maybe I will just have to wait and see. What is it about them that makes you think they are hens?

for me, just the body shape and the head screams hen. not sure when roosters grow spurs, but those show no sign of spurs.
plus the fact that they aren't crowing yet. (the crowing part isn't a dead giveaway since they can start crowing later on)

the red is not a big indicator. I've had lots of hens that had red combs from a very early age. and yes, all those hens have boy names lol ;)

Haha! Well if they turn out to be girls, they will go back to Irene and Virginia. haha. All my chickies are named after my grandmothers and great grandmothers. Virginia and Madge are the only two with surviving namesakes, so even though "Virgil" was her idea, she would be happy its a girl. haha!

I do have two silkies, one named David Bowie and one named Goldie Hawn. It doesnt matter what they really are, their names will not change. haha. And I'm sure we will still call them "he" and "she".
