We have 4 frizzles and some silkies that were hatched on June 10th.
All 4 of the frizzles are white.I beleive I have 2 hens and 2 roos and a the nicest silkie I have is also white.
So I can't stand them looking dirty so I bring them in every few weeks and wash them in my sink with dawn and then dry them with the hairdryer and then give them a treat.
Whoever said chickens don't like water was nuts.My guys are totally calm about the bath part and in fact fall asleep while being dried.I then put them in a tote.
They are currently all 5 in amallish tote napping AND more than 1 is PURRING.Almost like a cat purr.
My DD calls giving them a spa day and they don't struggle or get upset at all.
Anyone else experience this?
