I Hear DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well at this point, it stands 14 out, I think a couple more pipping, not including the one I believe wont make it.
Pics after hatch is completely done!
My Blue Swedish (crested) are supposed to hatch June 6th, but my 16 year old is already regretful that these will be going to my aunt tomorrow morning at 8:30. I try not to be sad because its less than a half a mile away! I am such a baby.

I am definitely keeping a couple of Blue Swedish though, if they hatch, at least.
The geese havent started yet, but I am keeping my fingers crossed for that too.

Of the other incubator with guineas, turkeys and chickens, so far just one TINY little silkie cross has hatched. The girls are really taken with it...but then they were with the standard chicks and ducks too, lol. At ages 23 and 16, I think I am converting more hatch-a-holics!!

Mags! Good job!!! I am so proud of you!!! For some reason, my Indian Runner ducks usually hatch around Day 25-26. They peep like mad and can take forever to hatch. I lower the temperature to around 96.5-97 so they don't stick to the egg as much. I keep the humidity high. LOL.

I had 40 ducks due today. Between Tuesday and last night, 27 of them already hatched. I think that we now have 5-7 more pipping. We'll see how the rest of them do!

So, keep up the good work. I'm very excited!!

Thank you Nancy for such wonderful fertile eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to order a few more just for myself, lol. My deal with my aunt is, after these get old enough to lay eggs, she will give me some for incubating. She offered me money but I prefer eggs. I guess I am addicted!!!

Oh my gosh!!!! I looked into the incubator and here I posted above that the goose eggs were not pipping. I have my first pip!!!! I dont know if its an Embden or Toulouse. The Chinese are due a little later.
The ducks I have hatching are from Calebs Acre (Nancy!

) and Shadyglade.

I dont know if I said I hatched these in a Little Giant though the goose eggs for at least the first couple of weeks were in a Lyons until the fan went. (Hopefully I can replace that this week.)
With LGs, having a hygrometer sure helps the process, at least with me it did.

That is a beautiful picture!

And no, you are not hijacking my thread, at least I dont see it that way.
Miracle of miracles. The little duck that I thought would NOT make it out because the egg was all bloody is OUT and appears fine, though maybe a little smaller. I think we will keep him and the last one hatching, not totally decided though. They can be buds for the tiny silkie cross banty as so far nothing else is hatching with her/him.
There might be more than those last two hatching, I have to look around with the flashlight. It looks like a war zone in there, lol.

Oh, Holly, what a cute photo!!! That will be one truly spoiled duckling. LOL...JUST the way they should be!!!

I can't believe that the bloody duckling is hatching!!! WOW!

Yeah, I know, and he looks to be as normal as the other ducklings. Goes to show you just never know sometimes!

If he/she stays, it will HAVE to be Jemima PuddleDuck!

I am going back and forth about keeping the last two hatching.Again, I THINK its the last two but every time I open my mouth something different happens. Like the gosling!! Still just a pip in that egg. Goslings take even longer than ducks dont they???
