I hear peeping!!!!!

I think our girls are one the same schedule. A few hours ago I saw another pip! hehe yay! I will post pics tomorrow :)

I wouldnt worry about the rotten eggs. You could always candle them quickly just to see whats up. They shouldnt hurt the chick, even if they explode. Dont take the baby from the mama though! It needs her warmth :)

i woke up to a pleasent surprise today to find that the second baby had hatched!!! its a little yellow chick, probably a white rock like its mama. Now is it true that if all the eggs dont hatch within 24 hours of the first one then it wont hatch? I still have 3 left and two smell rotten but the other smells normal.

SAME HERE!!!! The one below I kinda helped out, but not really, it was just taking a nap with its head still on the edge of the shell. I thought it was all out but it was alright since it was all out anyway. I cant imagine sleeping on an egg shell would be comfy! The other one has been out for a while I am guessing. SOOOOO CUTE!!! You may want to get the rotten ones out but leave the rest. I have one more that I saw pipping this morning and one that hasnt really done anything yet. But the last hatch I had the babies were separated by a whole day.

Oh I have no idea what mine are as they are from a farm up the road. Our rooster isnt really into the ladies so the eggs they were originally sitting on werent fertile at all. Kinda makes it a neat surprise to see what they will turn into.
