It's nice to be able to check on them if I hear strange noises during the night.
Most of the time I can see them out of the windows.

I put on one of those Alexa devices in the henhouse (got them on sale) and I used them as baby monitors for a while. I was getting up several times a night to check on them, so this helped me let go a little.

Cameras are a better idea though. I often just hear rustling and then get out there to find an inter-species war. (ducks vs turkeys)

The majority of the construction was done with screws, so if I screwed something up, I could always unscrew it and try again. Quite a bit of the materials were free from construction scraps or posted on social media account as free material. There are a lot of guides on line that helped fill the knowledge gap. I have done remodeling before, but this is the first time I've framed an actual structure.
