I hope I didn't make a mistake sending my roo to a new home :(

We don't have rooster that crows so we can hear unless we are close to the Barn.
And neighbors are not close.

It is always BEST to have a neighbor happy.

We always have at least ONE rooster for our Silkie Chickens. It is a matter of choice.
And you have made probably the BEST choice to suit you and your neighbor. Regards, Aria

Thanks everyone. I think the most affected is me. I let the girls out today and they seemed as happy as ever. I think I was being overly sensitive and letting everything bother me. We will make it through this one! All hens are still laying so I think we are in good shape.

Since you're turning on the light do you have to open up the coop at 12:30am? I don't open my coop until 7am and my roo crows about 5:30-6am. So unless you threaten him you won't hear him cause he's all locked up.

The door stays open into their run and the light is on a timer. the light comes on, they go outside to eat and drink and hang out until sunrise.
