What do you guys think?
This is my first time having chickens.Iam only on day 3 but loving it. I got these to little ones from a guy down the road and I was told they are RIR.

Depending on age, the first one is a pullet and the second is a roo. The comb and wattles are much more pronounced on the second one. RIR are a deep chocolately red color-these guys are a very light red-maybe a production red. Someone else with more knowledge will pop on here soon, hang on!

I agree the first is a pullet and the second a roo, but the first one especially looks more like a Buff orp. They both look to have white legs...RIRs would be much darker red and have yellow legs.

I only paid 2bucks for them two so I think I can sell the rooster and make my money back.I will post pics of my four Bantams I got tonight for .80cents and let you pros tell me what I got.
