One of the broody hens surprised me with babies this morning. She is refusing to move from the nest which means more are coming, but sheesh! I thought I still had some time.
he babies are adorable though.
and the hen pecked the stew out of me when I tried to pick up one of the chicks. It is pure yellow with a single black dot on it's head and I wanted a better look. but nnooo. the hen threatened my life and threw some, what i am sure, are birdy cuss words questioning my birth my way.
