Here is your state thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/25131/m-i-crooked-letter-crooked-letter-ahh-nevermind-mississippi It is great for local info just hop on to the end and introduce yourself. Your state thread is not very active, we have some of your members on our state thread as well because of it: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/160883/louisiana-la-yers-peeps You are welcome to join both. Give the bantams a smaller place they can run to inside of the coop and if you use a pen instead of free ranging then you will want a smaller hiding space out there too. When free ranging they rarely have issues because they separate into 2 groups and pick opposite sides of the yard to go to.

Welcome to BYC. Big chickens pick on little chickens - especially if they have not been raised together. Lots of space, places to hide and separate pens are all possible solutions to modify this behavior.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Sounds like you have a nice little flock, they are fun aren't they! You've gotten some good suggestions above on dealing with the bantams.
